We were competing against an incumbent vendor with a longstanding district relationship. The proposal needed to demonstrate that Strategic Kids could recruit, train, deploy, and support approximately 75 instructional aides across 68 elementary schools, while giving the district a credible reason to consider changing providers.

I structured the response around the district’s operational priorities, connecting recruitment, training, retention, substitute coverage, supervision, compliance, scheduling, and reporting into a unified service model.

To differentiate Strategic Kids from the incumbent, I built the response around measurable evidence rather than general claims, including a 95% average fill rate, 35,326 completed shifts, 180,000 service hours, and a 4.75 out of 5 partner recommendation rating.

The district ultimately retained its incumbent vendor, awarding to a single provider per office under a no-pool structure. Even so, the proposal placed third among 24 competing firms in the district's evaluation, outscoring most established staffing providers in the field. The proof points, service model, and response structure developed for this proposal became a template that I refined and intend to use in future submissions.
